Job Description

Exceptional Personal / Team Assistant required to work within the Chairman's office of a global communications business. Working within an existing team in support of the Chairman, this role involves extensive inbox and diary management, the drafting of responses, research, project work, the coordination of meetings/travel and itineraries whilst managing conflicting priorities and sudden change. Previous experience of drafting and sending of correspondence to internal/external stakeholders is required, as is the ability to work closely within a team in support of the Chairman. Within this setting, you will work together as a team to support the Chairman and you all have a part to play. Emotional intelligence, the ability to work at pace and under pressure and a strong focus on teamwork will be essential to success within the role. This will be a very busy, highly visible, ambassadorial and demanding role, but one which offers a unique insight into a global business. You will need to work closely with your counterparts within the Chairman's office to understand priorities and how your contribution will impact on their work and the Chairman. You must have the highest level of written and spoken English, as you will be responding on behalf of the Chairman. Candidates must be comfortable working within a team and be intellectually curious and commercially minded.  Person Specification: 

  • Prior PA experience at board / Chairman level
  • Experience of complex inbox management
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience of drafting / producing correspondence (or speech writing)
  • Team orientated and hands on
  • Able to handle pace, anticipate needs and always have a back up plan
  • Able to manage multiple requests and prioritise efficiently
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm and composed manner, positive outlook, emotionally intelligent

Salary between £35,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) with a range of excellent benefits
