Job Description

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Team Assistant to join a well respected financial services company based in Manchester city centre on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time office-based role providing administrative support to the Executive Assistant and Team Secretaries within the business.

This role will suit a graduate with at least 6 months of administrative experience who would be confident working in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Duties will include: 

  • Admin support to a team of 6 
  • Supporting the Executive Assistant and assisting with administrative duties
  • Assisting with the arranging of client events
  • Create PowerPoint presentations 
  • Prepare Information Memoranda 
  • Assisting with the arranging of client events
  • Liaising with accounts collating information to produce client invoices
  • Undertaking research as requested
  • Printing / scanning / organising documents
  • Organising business cards
  • Printing / binding all documents
  • Watermarking documents
  • Maintaining office supplies (stationery, toners, binding materials, etc.)
  • Processing all joiners and leavers
  • Organising meetings and calls (internal / client, liaising with other secretaries accordingly)
  • Organising international/domestic travel
  • Arranging itineraries, visas, airport transfers, hotels
  • Collate and process expenses 
  • Working closely with the EA and other secretaries in the direct team and across the wider division, provide cover and assist as directed
  • Provide cover for Reception when required 

Person Specification

  • Graduate with at least 6 months administrative experience
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication skills
  • Pro-active attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and reliability
  • Self-motivated, reliable with a flexible attitude
  • Ability to act with good judgement and common sense
  • Good team player
  • Confident working in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to act professionally discretely 
  • Well presented 

Hours will be 8:30am-5:30pm. Salary up to £24,000 per annum (depending on experience).
